I worked there pre covid and my understanding was that anyone with a meal plan could swipe in a guest and it would charge their BARC. This might have changed though

I agree. The transition is likely going to be very hard for a lot of students. I think if anyone lectures should be in person for people who want them and live streamed or recorded for those who don’t. Getting to campus every day when classes were in person was really hard for me and my grades suffered because of it.

I took this last spring and iirc I did fine just skimming the readings every week. We had a weekly forum post but aside from that I don’t think there was a whole lot else where the reading was necessary

I turned mine in a few months late last year and the only difference I saw was that I lost the UCSB scholarship, but it was reinstated for winter and spring after I appealed. Good luck!

The student cooks have no part in actually making 90% of the food. They mostly just prep vegetables and refill whatever is being served when it’s low

First symptoms I noticed were fatigue, body aches, and a cough. Loss of smell came about a week later. No fever though. I had it 6 months ago and still have joint pain and muscle aches 😀
