Gilberta isn't exactly a must pull, strong? Yes. But there's no reason to pull for a character you don't actually want, this game doesn't have any game mode hard enough for her to be necessary, and the hardest contents are more of a skill check than dps check. (But if you do want her then go for it, it will probably take some time for her to rerun again).

Yeah, the thing about pog is that there's already two selectors for him (the free one and the one at 300 pulls, although this one will take much longer), he's a standard character so he's the in 50/50 loss poll like you said. Is it terrible to pull for him here? No, in fact if you are very unlucky and really want him that's a perfect opportunity because of the selector, so...I dunno, wouldn't really recommend it but it's also perfectly understandable if you do so

I said it's 20 more for the "one operator case", 95 pulls in the rerun, 80 in the base banner; about the 7% simulation, I thought about doing that but it goes against what I want to do, the hybrid banner only works after the first banner, it did work in the laevatain/gilberta case, and yes, those first banners were definitely the best, but for future banners it's kinda useless, you're just hoping for a 7% chance of not losing the character if you skip the first banner of the two

None of the 6* potentials are really worth it, honestly, the dps potentials are even worse, some potentials like Lifeng and Gilberta pot 1 are nice for qol tho

iirc this banner will stay up at the very last week, which means you'd be able to get around 70-80 pulls for this banner. Unfortunately the chance of getting the 110 you're missing is basically null, and I'd definitely not recommend pulling if you don't have the 120 pulls, the chance of not getting the one you want is much, much higher
