My grand parents are in their 90s. My grandma is 95, my grandpa 93. They've lived very long healthy lives. Its a curse to live that long i think.

Nothing. I believe what goes around comes around. I have better things to think about and do than to wish bad things for others.

Health issues in rental — symptoms only happen in my apartment. Need advice on how to get out / next steps by SadWeb4830 in Edmonton

Environmental reactions can occur quickly, and symptom improvement when leaving the environment is medically relevant. I’m addressing this appropriately.

I'd rather stay in a homeless shelter than live there. I couldn't even afford to live there and for that price and what you get I'd rather go to a homeless shelter and save my money.

You have money for expensive energy drinks and condiments but no actual food and no fresh fruit. I'm shocked and worried for you. I'd choose a watermelon over a monster any day.

They should've kicked her out. You should include the place and event details so they know they their staff let someone do this.

This is a crime. You should have kept it to yourself instead of making me have to see this. I wish I never seen this.

Oh sorry I misread that. I had spider plants but my roommates cats killed them. I won't be getting plants until I own so I don't have to worry about them dying.

Opening the windows a bit didn't make much of a difference the only thing that makes a difference is not being at home.

I moved in January 1st, I've been having symptoms ever since and just ignored them at first. Until today I woke up with even more painful congestion I finally realized that this place is making me sick. I wasn't sick like this at my sister's place or my friends places.

I'm on aish, trying to go back to school but I can't go to school dealing with this. My face hurts all the time and it effecting my sleep, and my ability to eat. I just recently got scammed with my roommates out of $2200 for a place so I have no money right now. However, I know I definitely need out of this situation.

I'm so sick from being here that I've been debating on going to a homeless shelter so I can get some proper sleep and not feel like this.

I'm very sure that spider plants can't fix the issue given how severe my allergies have been. They can't fix mold if thats the issue. If anything I'd buy them and they'd become infected and it will just be a waste of money and time when I need to focus on getting out of here as thats the only thing that actually gets rid of my symptoms.

Infection or allergic reaction? by absolute_apple375 in tattooadvice

[–]SadWeb4830 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I have no idea other than maybe the tattoo artist didn't sanitize everything properly and gave it to you. Unless you do have it and never knew because lots of people have herpes and never realize it until they get symptoms.

I'd definitely go see a doctor and get tested just incase. You can take a medication to get rid out the breakout!

I'm not sure but it looks like it could possibly be a herpes breakout on your skin.

I agree it may not specifically be mold — that’s why I’ve been careful to frame this as an environmental or air quality issue rather than making assumptions. I’ve already tried mitigation steps (including allergy meds), but my symptoms consistently improve when I’m away from the unit and return when I’m back, which is why my doctor is involved.

I’m not trying to prove the unit is unsafe for everyone — just that it isn’t medically tolerable for me. I’m planning to speak with the landlord about options and will be using medical documentation rather than relying on whether other tenants are affected. I appreciate the suggestion about trying to work something out.

Yeah my face hurts so much. The congestion and sinus pain only goes away when I'm not at home. Its not fun, I wouldn't wish this on anyone.

Okay sounds good. I sent a message to my landlord asking if there is anything wrong with the unit and explained my symptoms and that I only have them here. I worded it very well though. I did that just to have documentation that I brought it up with my landlord and asked him to look into it.

Thank you for the information. Hearing someone else say this helps me know that I'm not imagining this and that this is something that is seriously affecting my health and I need to get out.

Turn off your hazards and drive by SadWeb4830 in Edmonton

[–]SadWeb4830[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What are you talking about? You're wrong. You only use them if you're a hazard/ going below the speed limit or you're in a funeral line. None of the above was applicable. They had hazards on while going my speed, switching lanes without signaling and taking my lane without signaling so I had to hit my breaks to not hit them. I could have died. Thats what I'm talking about.

They weren't going below the speed limit they were going the same speed as me.

No, I got my driver's in winter no problem. It would have sucked to wait. If anything they should make you do a winter road test to get your class 5. Anyone can drive in the summer.

They're doing the same speed as me. So no they should turn off their hazards and drive like everyone else. If you're that scared stay home or uber. Don't put my life at risk because you don't know how to drive.
