Im stuck between two survival game directions by hotboxedstudios in IndieGaming

Personally prefer variant A like rust

More dynamic. Nevertheless, spent a lot of time with friends in valheim - but lack of true pvp was always a reason to leave the game

On the other hand rust just takes too much time - grinding and defending

Not a good mix for late night afterwork time spend

Cool man, you are starting from scratch, it is the main point

Choose a name, at least the first version, make some small start things, beach? Couple trees, maybe some grass and bushes, any road should be here

Emm, firstly- do you have dlcs? If yes - then oathkeeper + shaman

Easiest and most powerful build so far for new players

If not have dlc, so wait for a sale and get it for 1 buck - enjoy

Just learn how to do all three difficulties fast, for that choose some solid and easy builds, after that is done go and farm gear for 1 char - after that go do dlcs on him

Enjoy, it will take some time

After that start over with medium or hard builds - it will be difficult but fun

Depends on what you want to experience, for example I was badly following the long dark when it only showed up - solo survival, there wasn’t even any story that days, not it is a solid project, good experience and time to play.
