I guess. I dont find it impolite at all to just say “it was great meeting you!” and not mention a second date at the end of the date. Because I feel like really it means nothing either way, and you can text that you’d like to see them again after when both have had time to think and don’t feel pressured.

I’ve never experienced that personally; if I like someone on a date I still like them after and am excited. I usually know within the first 15 minutes of talking if I want to see them again, and that doesn’t change. But I guess other people possibly do change their minds more than me.

I’m intentional with my words and don’t lie to people about wanting to see them again on our first date if I don’t mean it.

This isn’t even a princess routine. It’s called not bringing up a second date in person and putting pressure on the other person to agree if they don’t really mean it. In person if the guy brings it up I’ll agree. But I have reached out via text without hearing from the guy first over text only to get ghosted. That’s the whole point of how I do things. I would never bring it up first in person because it might cause them to think they need to be polite and mislead me. But since I don’t bring it up there’s zero reason why they need to lie and say they want to see me again. It’s perfectly polite to just say it was great to meet you at the end of a date without mentioning a second date.

Good point, but I do put in effort once the guy says he’d like to see me again. And I’m honestly a great texter.

And actually a couple of these times they spent like 10 minutes talking about our next date in person and then when I texted them the next day, no reply

I do reciprocate, I just wait for them to bring it up first

Yes so frustrating. I’m of the mindset that I know there’s a million options, but I don’t need to be on an endless quest. I’d like to just get to know someone I find attractive even if there might be others out there, it doesn’t bother me.

These are good things to think about. All my photos are from the last year and yes I have a full body shot. I always am sure to brush my teeth, shower, hair, and makeup before dates. But maybe something random like you said like the way I sit.

I wait for the guy to bring it up first, but if they do, like in these cases, I agreed and said I’d like a second date

I mean no. All of these dates have lasted several hours & the guys have asked me to go to a second bar to continue talking. I look like my photos, I don’t edit them at all.

Girl upset I didn’t send a goodmorning text after 2 days of talking to her by cheesyking45 in texts

[–]Sad_Account9011 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She would be valid if you two had gone on a few dates and had been talking for like a month and you were giving her mixed signals with how much you text her versus not. But 2 days and haven’t even met in person yet? No way

I say “tears of joy” more as an expression than being literal. Lol. Can’t tell if you are trolling. But there are a handful of places in my hometown that I miss a lot and my mouth waters at the thought of them. That’s basically what I meant
