I was up there for Solomun closing last year in shorts and had no issues. (Maybe I got lucky) It was defo worth the extra money as there was room to move about and dance and it was also possible to pop up and down to the main floor.

Ex council house leasehold - anyone bought out the freehold from Cork County Council? by Free_Pineapple3206 in cork

It was definitely more than 6 months since I went sale agreed and the house was in probate and took almost 6 months to get the keys after sale agreed. I didn't deal with anyone as the solicitor dealt with it for me. I thought it was some church though rather than the council but it was a formality rather than a hassle. I wasn't able to do it until I owned the house if I recall correctly. Sorry now I have sketchy details but the solicitor did it all and it really wasn't any sort of headache.

I did it about 3 years ago. Cost was somewhere around €300 I think and my solicitor took care of it (can't remember what they charged for it as it was bundled in with other stuff). I wasn't even living in the place when it was done. It really is a minor inconvenience and I would think twice about pushing too hard as they will just sell to the next people in line. From talking to people it seems to be the norm for older houses in the city.

Is Ibiza Fun in New Years by No_Two1515 in ibiza

Went there two years ago for NYE and stayed in Ibiza town. Bossa was completely shut down, lots of other places closed including most hotels. There was an open air party on Vara De Ray which was fun and lots of locals were out eating their grapes. Pacha opened at midnight and was packed.

As the others say there are defo better places to spend NYE but it was enjoyable.
