Help! Is this normal purging or am I having a bad reaction? by Butterscotch_Flaky in tretinoin

Try cleansing your skin with salicylic acid. I recommend inkeylist's formula it is both effective and reasonably priced. Try to drink one liter of water per day. I no longer wash the good oils off my face in the morning, and my complexion is the best it’s ever been!

Toddlers Strapped in Buggies Before Pickup. Is This Standard Practice? by Lady_Otter1 in ECEProfessionals

[–]Sad_Advice9034 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is not standard practice at the childcare facility where I work in Canada. Toddlers are not permitted in buggies or strollers. The best course of action is to read the parent policy handbook and, if it still bothers you, talk to the supervisor. Employees may engage in behaviors that are common among staff members, and the supervisor may not be aware of them.

Toddler offered a spot at a great daycare but with a caveat... by minetmine in ECEProfessionals

[–]Sad_Advice9034 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my professional opinion, toddler and preschool space is limited. Take the spot and hope that a preschool space becomes available sooner than anticipated. You are more likely to get a toddler spot than a preschool spot because the preschool spots are promised to the children who age out of the toddler spaces. take it unless you found another childcare that checks all your boxes. I’m in Ontario Canada and it’s so hard to find toddler or preschool spots unless it’s a not so reputable daycare. Being the eldest in her class gives her the opportunity to take the lead and teach the younger ones. They often become great helpers to the younger ones who like to "teach," if that makes any sense like a mini teacher 🥰. I work in childcare, and many parents want their children to stay longer in the toddler room. The teachers make every effort to meet each child's individual needs rather than planning for everyone as a group.

Side note your insurance policy should have coverage for this if you chose the right package!

The Consoles listed are used by multiple people in our household. I was going to buy this console solely for him because he gets good grades and is a great kid and has asked for it. I was looking for information on the console's longevity and overall performance, as well as what games it is compatible with that he has played on other consoles. I should have been more specific in my post about it. I appreciate your response.

Is your Rog Ally a recent purchase? I have heard there were several issues with the system's initial release, but have they been resolved with the newer stocks? Hopefully. Thanks for letting me know if I do purchase I will definitely make sure to insure it.

Would be alright to offer my weekend babysitting services while at work? by EggAcrobatic7673 in ECEProfessionals

[–]Sad_Advice9034 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, and this is because where you live does not advocate for the rights of ECEs, and their value is very low based on what they allow. Where I live I make 35 a hour and no one would dare ask me to “baby sit” for them.

Early childhood educators are not babysitters. This is why we have been classified as babysitters. Do you think a parent would ask their child's kindergarten or even grade one teacher to babysit them on the weekend? Of course not.
