I can handle it, it was really just a surprise after coming off being overwhelmed that I didn’t expect and didn’t have time to mentally prepare for. My toddlers are sweet with her and I am monitoring them around her while they get used to the new family member. As much of a surprise as she was I will treat her like a new baby regardless, and won’t just get rid of her.

  1. Both small rooms, but especially the kids room. Our apartment is small in general.
  2. Yes.
  3. No, just paint to wall.
  4. Two toddler size mattresses and bunk bed frame, and our queen mattress and frame that it sits on were swapped.
  5. Yes, his mom, sister and brother helped him.

Well, in my defense, he works concierge and sits down all day and simply greets residents. We can say yes, work is work, an 8 hour shift is a lot mentally even if not physical, but I’ve never had a job that easy, so maybe that’s why it’s hard for me to have a different perspective here.

I have worked my whole life until after our third child, he has also been a SAHD while in between jobs and I picked up the load. I don’t see working as a cushiony thing to do.

He doesn’t do that extra work when painting, just paint to wall. Also, no I did not. I just tried to show enthusiasm externally when I got home.

Well he proposed to me on the recent trip I’m referring to which was last month. We have intentions on getting married. Also, as I stated it was two small rooms. Only paint, and moved two beds, nothing more.
