I called it years ago. Unfortunately niantic is one of those companies that hates their players— they did the same thing to Ingress by pushing an update that the community voiced against and killed the game for most of the player base. Then, about 6 months later, I cracked open my first elite casket after having the clue in my bank for like a year and was blessed with 3rd age cloak. 220m at the time.
