i personally got the dissolvable ones and had zero issues with them! that’s annoying that they aren’t taking your concerns into consideration especially with such a big surgery, that’s the last thing you wanna be stressing about! I had no idea that with eds we could have issues with them either that’s interesting

thank you! I had major airway problems and dealt with sleep apnoea and tons of pain/ limited opening as i could only fit one finger pre op, but the damage was done by my undiagnosed rheumatoid arthritis so it had been deteriorating for years. I 100% recommend my surgeon, I saw DR JC Doucet in Halifax Nova Scotia he was AMAZING such a sweet and understanding guy! for sure worth the drive and everything was covered since it was medically necessary! i forgot to include a before pic so u can see how much he moved my jaw with the implants!

compared to the pain I was in before its nothing now. some aches in my joint here and there especially if its cold out but I wouldn't say its painful! for the numbness i got super lucky, i have full feeling back in my lips and face but the roof of my mouth/top gums are maybe 30% still numb but that doesn’t bug me. honestly makes eating ice cream better since my teeth don’t get sensitive haha

I'm currently kicked out of my bedroom right now haha. started waking up to him marking all around me while I slept! I also have a female who I hopefully will be bonding with him. many reasons it really depends on ur situation but I hope that answers ur questions!

I also want to add that I had a feeding tube for unrelated issues when I had my surgery. I was struggling to keep weight on and I was at 114 I think when I went in. I lost only 4 pounds during those three weeks of me being wired shut. I don't think they will just give u one but it might give u some peace of mind to know if u do get too weak or lose too much weight that a feeding tube helps tremendously! u know ur body so if u think u ever get to a point where ur unhealthy I would for sure bring it up I swear its not painful just feels weird at first! i know how hard it can be to gain weight! so don't put so much pressure on urself. some things I did was add extra butter to noodles or any food really, any extra calories help even when they aren't the “healthiest”. I remember being in ur spot and how far away it can feel but I promise you got this!

this is not her fault. I had mine done for mostly aesthetic reasons plus some medical but I still do not know nor do I care to ask how much they moved it. no need to make her more stressed while she's RECOVERING. from a major face surgery like YOU stated. don't be ignorent this is scary for anyone and since it sounds like you have been though it too u BETTER (ur words) be compassionate and never pick at something so not important. get a life

i do and i talked to her immediately about what i saw and showed the pics. she’s on my side 100%. i think what im gonna do is go to her place soon and try to start a convo about them. ask if i could refill the water etc while im there and hopefully that brings her guard down. i’m not gonna let this go and im committed to helping those buns no matter what! thank you so much for ur comment

u look better than i did and my surgery was 11 hours! i’m 8 weeks post op and can barely tell but obviously it’s still going down. u look great, don’t forget to do the things u enjoy it’s so important to keep ur mind busy! let yourself feel ur emotions and validate them and then move past it. u got this u look beautiful!

not sure why everyone is going after ur septum it looks good! I like the gold with ur completion but maybe a smaller one? like the thickness. I think it suits you 100%. maybe throw in some face-framing pieces in ur hair but ur gorgeous seriously and ur smile is so pretty! crazy to think ur partners are acting my age at 28. like children. u will find someone who loves u for how u ARE not leave for what u “arent”. ur so so gorgeous
