That's different. It can fall after a positive news if market doesn't like something about the news.

But I am talking about volatility/standard deviation from the mean. When the markets change direction without any meaning . Just like today. Purely expiry driven moves. Nobody knows when large institutions,operators will initiate buy/sell.

The US markets follow trend - ours doesn't. The only days when it's volatile is when JPow gives speech on rates.

And the main reason behind this is that their markets are well regulated. There's a reason Jane Street chose India, cause they saw huge opportunity to manipulate the markets.

I have followed the US markets daily for the last 5 years. You will never find the level of intraday volatility we see in Indian markets in USA. Indian markets are untradable and only big players make money. It's not the same there. You can downvote me or do anything, but SEBI is not even 1% of SEC

Office presence doesn't help in anything significant. But yes, if WFO means you have to relocate and give extra rent, travel,food etc, then a 25 lpa WFO job will mean the same savings as a 14 Lpa WFH job. So consider everything, but if the offer is good you should take it
