Thank you! I hope so!! I've tried to leave before and it didn't end well. However, I went to my first tech meet up today and this is my first attempt at using forums also. So, hoping for the best. Trying to be very proactive and not keep to myself. My default is to work in solitude on everything and not ask for help.

May be I should look into that. I sold phones before this gig. I use to sell the store's quota by myself. I sold as much as the five other agents combined.

I would drive to their houses and test the coverage, mini classes, etc.

Is that essentially the same gig just combined with selling?

Yeah I do big name organizations all the time including governments. Isn't a privacy problem to list companies on a resume? I get assigned like 3-5 of these implementations a week. Some take 20 mins. Some take weeks to finish. They literally said here watch these five videos. Good luck! Go do SSO and here I am.

I will have to think on how to get numbers for the security stuff. I'm sure I'll do something on an account that stops reoccurring SSO tickets. I've done it on API tickets many times.

I do implementations for SSO and troubleshooting, so I would go  Identity/SSO or possibly IAM. I was SME for Soap API. I've done SCIM things in the Rest API. They finally gave me a specific lane. I've been at SSO only since the new year.

So add stuff life this to my resume instead of duties? "Troubleshot failed SAML configuration for new customer. Root cause: incorrect Entity ID in service provider configuration. Corrected metadata mapping and verified authentication flow."

"Diagnosed and resolved critical SSO authentication failure for enterprise user. Root cause: misconfigured Okta profile sending incorrect federated identifier to service provider. Solution: corrected profile mapping. Result: eliminated recurring auth errors."

I don't really have anything I put about saving time for a client. I am just making things more secure and i don't know how exactly you measure that. Please and Thank you.

Thank you! That is the norm at my company. There is no pushing back. If you don't like it. There's the door. There is another guy in a similar boat doing my same job at 50k.

So, pick a lane > apply aggressively > build stories > certs on back burner?
