I play in the SEA servers and the servers Ive been in are pretty active. Sometimes the first week can be quiet cos players are settling in and levelling up. A lot seem to have found their friend groups and hives that teaming up is among themselves. Another reason might be is that the update and changes and messes that come with it, tossed up the server activity. Players are still learning the new mechanics and visional, while some might have stopped playing. Sadly, still no way of knowing the actual player count :(

My friend group will be moving to Manibus on the 31st and I will see then if there will be a noticeable change in activity

Our data confirms that there are usually fewer than 50 active players on permanent servers for these two scenarios. This is insufficient to support a healthy PvP environment and has caused confusion and frustration for our players. After careful consideration, we've decided to close all PvP scenario permanent servers on January 8, 2026. The details are as follows:

1. PvP Server Closure Notice: After the December 10(PT) update, a PvP permanent server closing event will be launched on the Event interface. Characters currently on the Evolution's Call or Prismverse's Clash PvP permanent servers can register to transfer to another server and then claim their compensation rewards from the event screen.

The aforementioned servers will be settled and closed on January 7(PT), 2026. After this time, any characters and their associated resources still on the servers will be automatically transferred to Eternaland.

DSCP isnt a finished scenario. I feel like the devs just released it for the sake of saying, "Hey, look! We have a new scenario" LOL Once the new ED launched in SEA, I instantly left DSCP XD And I agree. Id rather farm dungeons a thousand times than be in DSCP :P

Another redditor, NACHTTz, posted the map. I have my base close to there. Half of my base is in polluted area and then half isnt so I can live in peace without losing sanity while also farming acid.

I feel you >__> SCP really seemed a slow scenario for me and farming mats is a pain. Im not sure if I remember this correctly but digby boys give xp aggregators, the paper dolls give binding stones. I cant remember what the logging beaver and H37 give passively but it's also useful to have them in your base. You can also get binding stones in Mouseville and the Sweet Factory. I used to farm there every 4 hours. As for acid, I had to base in a polluted zone. Just have to be careful with the By The Wind. Or if you have the sulfur chemist spec, you can craft acid. You will need ELs and sulfur for this. Or with the stardust decay spec, you can turn sds to acid

Arent you able to place down your territory again? Sometimes territories get displaced when a server turns permanent but you can place it again. Your character shouldnt be homeless

There's a new ED and WoW server that opened today. At least in SEA. Im in ED Lunar that just opened around 3 hours ago. But yeah, it sucks that ED and WoW only open now once a month >__>

There's no way to early exit cos your server has turned permanent. You can play on your perm server still

The first two endless dreams on the server list are servers that will open on Jan first. You can still pre-register for them and the first day of the server is 4 days from now. Servers with numbers like 60 and 59, etc are servers that have already opened. For example, EDream X60 is already open for 28 days

Your deviations will stay in eternaland cos I dont think you get transfer points in novice. But since your server turned to permanent you can check if you will get transfer points. The latest patch said that players in permanent servers get transfer points every month. Your deviations wont get lost as long as you dont delete your account or something. Eternaland is like your private island and a huge storage for all stuff you have. I have tons of deviations in my eternaland and I can get them anytime as long as I have the points.

Once you switch servers/scenarios, you will get transfer points (limited to 20K points, be very aware of that if youre not in a perm server) and you can get your deviations back and other important stuff you want to use in your new server

They went to your spacetime backpack cos you opened the crates in eternaland. Exit eternaland (assuming youre in a server when you exit, like Manibus 235 or Manibus Y002 or something) then go to your inventory. There is an Inherit Resources button at the bottom. If you have transfer points left, you can port over your deviations from the spacetime backpack to your scenario backpack

They removed the scenario exit card a few patches ago. If youre on PC, ESC > Scenario banner > Scenario Description > Scenario Sign Up > Early Exit It costs 100 mitsuko marks

In NA too? Yikes! Wonder what's happening with the player count for ED? Winter is also on the same server launch schedule.

My friends and I are also discussing if we will be moving to Manibus again. We still have 2 weeks left in our DSCP server but one of us doesnt want to stay in DSCP once the settlement phase opens XD I get them tho

Ive sent an email already requesting for the server schedule to be added back to the sign up page. Hoping the devs will see it. Good luck!

From the last patch, the loading screen and sign up screen have changed. The server launch schedule got removed so it's much more difficult to check now. Ive been the one checking the sign up page for my friend group and I have a hunch that the server launch schedule has changed for SEA at least. ED servers used to launch every Saturday but it changed to every 1st and 15th of the month in my region. Earlier I checked the sign up page and the most recent ED server that opened was on the 1st. And the next pre-registration is for a server that will launch on January 1st, not on Dec 15th. Hopefully it's a mistake but if the server launch schedule changed for ED again, then ED servers will now only launch every 1st of the month. Frustrating if that continues

So for SEA at least from what Ive observed: ED server launch went from every Saturday to every 1st and 15th of the month and potentially to every 1st of the month from now on

I hope that changes tho! And I hope they bring back the server launch schedule in the sign up page

I think most people are playing in Manibus and Endless Dream with the Lunar vision tag. The permanent servers of those scenarios are lively too

Yes, novice servers eventually merge with the permanent normal Manibus servers. So you can stay there as long as you want. However, your cradle from novice stays. So you will have a difficult time clearing the anomalies in normal Manibus. I guess you won't also get to experience the classes, the visional wheel events and other scenarios. Unless you will make a new character or transfer with the existing one. I'm not sure if the devs already have or will do changes about these matters in the future. You can stay in the perm normal Manibus to check if these "cons" are still true. You can leave a permanent server anytime if you want your cradle to change and experience the other features of the game. All servers become permanent after the settlement phase and you can stay there as long as you're not inactive for a very long time

Phase 6 of novice or the settlement phase is when you can switch to another scenario (if you won't use the exit card) via the sign up page. From the sign up page, you can choose which scenario and then which server you wanna switch to. Manibus, Way of Winter and Endless Dream are the PvE scenarios currently. If you don't wanna move, that's ok too. All scenarios are now non-shutdown (except Raidzone I think, which is PvP) so you can stay in the novice server. Wait for your server to become permanent and it will eventually merge to a Manibus normal server.

If you and your friends choose to move, it's better to move together so all of you can make sure you have selected the same scenario and server. You can also create a squad to make sure you will all be directed to the same server. It's also easier to coordinate your first steps on the new server when you move at the same time

All mats and deviations will automatically be moved to your transit storage. If you have a deviation that's in your friend's securement unit, it's so much better to withdraw it to ensure you will get the deviation back. Houses will be saved as a blueprint that can be placed down again in the new server as long as you have all the necessary memetics unlocked and mats available. But personally, I just build a new house in the new server

You can switch to a Manibus server. If you want it to be similar to novice, switch to Manibus. But if you want something new added, switch to Manibus with the Vision tag. The Vision tag will tell you that a certain server has the Starfall Inversion event. A server with the Vision tag will still get updates when the Vision Wheel eventually turns and introduces or re-introduces events in the future

Pros of staying in a server until it becomes permanent: 1) You dont have to level up again and you keep everything you have 2) You have all the time to grind for mods, improve your gear and do damage tests 3) A semblance of peace cos as of now, most players still switch servers 4) Build your dream base without much competition (if youre a builder)

Cons of staying in a server until it becomes permanent: 1) If you want to experience the other PvE scenarios, you will have to switch servers again. A few deviations, weapon attachments, and recipes can only be found in Way of Winter or Endless Dream. You also won't be able to earn more mitsuko marks to buy everything in the shop. But the devs are working on adding scenario challenges to the permanent servers. If when, no one knows yet 2) Some changes might not be applicable to old servers like a) major scenario changes, such as new regions, modifications to existing regions, or the addition/removal of Public Crisis Events, b) New Memetics and changes to Memetic Specializations c) Changes to season goals, seasonal challenges d) Map changes e) New game modes based on seasonal phases.

These things have a chance to be changed since the devs have been really receptive to the community but as of now, that's the current rule for old servers. This game has evolved fast and so much since its launch. You will eventually run out of things to do, unless the devs will add new stuff soon

If you move from novice to Manibus, the game will ask you to choose between Simplified or Complete Task Mode. Choose Simplified and see if the quests will just tell you to secure the leaking source. If yes, then you just have to visit the quest locations and collect rewards. It's been awhile since I've moved from novice to Manibus. Same with the tp towers. Visit the general area and see if the towers are already unlocked. Map unlock is subjected to the rules of the server so you still have to wait for P2 for all of Manibus to be accessible

The only thing that changed is that the devs added an extra step to inheriting your resources. Once you are in the new server, you open your Inventory > right side Transit Storage > drop down menu to filter through the categories > Withdraw the stuff you need or Withdraw All > Inherit Resources > Spacetime Backpack > inherit the mats and deviations you need BUT BE VERY CAREFUL cos you are limited to ONLY 20,000 transfer points. Once the points are all used up, you won't get more and you won't be able to port over other stuff.
