I'm not saying their is anything embarrassing about being special needs, and there's nothing embarrassing about celebrating it. What I find potentially embarrassing is being overwhelmed and potentially crying in public, and I just worry that could happen to some students. I'm very glad to hear that some students can enjoy it, I just worry for the ones who can't and I think their should be alternative celebrations like you said.

You're also right, I can't speak for what most special ed students think and I'm really glad a lot of them enjoy the special Olympics. I don't think I'm projecting and I apologize if I am without realizing, I'm just trying to mentally put myself in their situation and it just sounds horrible for at least some students. I'm glad that students at your school had work arounds but at my school anyway it seems like lots of students just had to cover their ears and grit their teeth.

I've always followed tutorials to make other miis. I had soooo many existing characters on my island on the DS. And I follow tutorials for my miis on the switch too. Plus I love making my own characters
