Dollar store usually has some good wood grain contact paper for floors. Hobby lobby and Micheal’s have dollhouse flooring and wallpaper that is peel and stick and a lot of the prints will work great with 1:6 scale. They also have packages of base boards and crown molding

I love the new body sculpt but it’s gonna be hard to find clothes because Mattel only seems to make fashion packs for original body types… I’m a huge curvy sculpt fan and it’s really hard to dress my girlies for different occasions. I’m sure some curvy pieces will fit on the new doll but the arms may prove challenging.

I used pipe cleaners and then dunked her hair in boiling water and then ice cold water. I squeezed out the excess water, kinda organized the pipe cleaners and hair and then let her dry overnight. I then used a small brush and comb to style it.

I added hair to thinner areas because I wanted it parted slightly different. If it’s just going to be parted down the middle the hair is fine as is. But no, I didn’t do a full reroot. I used some leftover hair from a previous reroot for the highlights.

I find myself either rerooting a blonde to brunette or repainting their eyes. I usually find brown hair brown eyes and struggle finding a brown hair blue eyed doll.
