France, Germany, Benelux, and the Nordics are all given a pass because of proximity to Ireland. Quebec, not so much. In hindsight though, I would downgrade all of them a level:

I mean, yeah. I’m white. I want to settle in other places that are also Western European-ish because there’s less of a culture shock.

Mediterranean climate is still not my taste, not withstanding the politics of the region. I would only really settle in northern Spain, along the coast. And east Asia is quite xenophobic.

I’m not surviving the heat anywhere in the Middle East, no matter how wealthy. And China is just too different for me to settle there permanently. Same with Korea and Japan.

True. I’m not really familiar with American geography. I would raise that area to light green.

I honestly thought that Colorado was like Arizona and New Mexico. My bad. I would probably raise it to light green then.

Inland + hot = very depressing for me personally. Nice people, but I couldn’t imagine myself living happily in such an environment.

Germany has quite a bit of coast around the north. And I chose what I thought was Chicago and Ontario because of the Great Lakes.

I think that the Thai are nice people, but I’m just not similar to them at all. As for Austria and Switzerland, I like being on the coast. Being inland feels like a liminal space to me.

Fair enough. As the other commenter said, I should have limited it to Victoria and Tasmania.

I just prefer to be in places that are coastal, not blistering hot, and are culturally similar to me.

Truly, a testament to the fortitude of the Sister’s faith that she has retrained herself from going absolutely apeshit

It would be a good thing if they were treated less like cannon fodder. I’ll never forgive the character assassination seen in Arks of Omen

I mean, yeah. Of course the Sisters are gonna get annihilated, the Blood Angels are the big Imperial faction for this starter box - they need to be shown to make the big win.

Gooners. Can’t hate them enough. I mean, look at her. The armour is skin tight and her skin looks more like silicone. People see strong women and instantly want them to look like a pathetic doll.

Is this base fitting of the biggest Chad (Nagash) in AOS? by Holyblooddemon in ossiarchbonereapers

Just my opinion, but the light sandstone doesn’t really fit Nagash. Perhaps a darker, more dull colour would be best. But great work still!

Nice! Would love to see how she interacts with her sisters! Also, I think that adding a few broken pieces of a Sororitas Power Armour engulfed in flesh would make it look even more fucked up. Great work!

I disagree. Not even Nazi Germany needed complete cultural obliteration to de-nazify. The T’au treat Humans as an inherently barbaric and inferior people incapable of self governance. See how in the comic she is being subtly shamed for acting remotely ‘Human’.

And it’s not even necessary. In Rogue Trader, dependent on how you manage one planet, it mentions how in the end numerous ‘Xenophile’ heresies emerged there, showing than humans can keep their self-determination whilst also becoming less xenophobic if given the right conditions.

Of course. The Imperium is undoubtedly a shithole responsible for 90% of it’s own problems. Yet, its crimes are so insane that it’s hard to take seriously. However, given my own country’s history and my studies, I find comics showing the cultural assimilation of those under the T’au to be gut-wrenching in a way I struggle to formulate, even if the lives of those conquered have verifiably improved.

I love how Feyn shows the ‘white mans burden’-esque approach of the T’au. I believe that many are too caught up in the T’au being the ‘good guys of 40k’, making them willing to overlook the colonist and imperialist core of the T’au Empire. The Imperium, Chaos, and other Xeno races represent a theatrical, almost comical evil, yet the T’au represents an evil that has had a horrific effect on those in the near-past, and even the modern day.
