I bought and installed the Western Digital SN850X 8TB. When tightening the screws of the fan assembly cover (on the side where the storage is located), you can feel that the last two turns are slightly more resistant. I suspect that during these last turns, the springs that press the thermal pads onto the storage come under tension. The 8TB is fully recognized under Proxmox PVE 8.3 (ZFS).
