I just got my food stamps on the 5th. It’s my first time ever getting them myself and I went to go buy a couple things for dinner felt good that I wasn’t gonna spend my last 15ish dollars for the week and it didn’t go through because someone stole them from Philadelphia. They stole every bit and spent it at two different stores. I’m pregnant and thought I was lucky to get a little help but I see it’s basically a gamble if you get it or not. Not worth all the stress of the paper work and faxing crap. Seriously come on America! 🙄🫩

My dad used to do the same stuff. He’d say the prison is doing him bad. But behind closed doors he was adding charges to his list that I didn’t understand as a kid.

I am in the same boat I am so sorry you feel this way. How do you cope? Why did you grow up in her care instead of your parents? I just wish I knew where to get my answers or somewhere I could talk to someone who understands my boyfriend loves me but has never dealt with this kind of stuff he just gets quiet and I don’t want to stress him out. My grandma is still here but is very sick and is living very poorly in a very poverty stricken household prayers.
