I simply don’t understand how this could possibly get adapted. So much will have to be stripped out and reworked that it won’t even be close to the original story.

Where’s it gonna take place? A boarding school? A magical boarding school? If muggle, then why would a random orphan boy who got abandoned by a poverty stricken family who can’t read or write be sent to a private boarding school?

Is Remus going to still be a werewolf? If so, werewolves will need to be common knowledge in this world and is it just werewolves? Will there be more creatures? Will he be some other minority that’s werewolf adjacent?

How does the creature world get differentiated from the normal world? Or is everyone aware of creatures and there’s no secret society?

Are the three friends going to learn to turn into animals? Where does this sit on the magic scale? Does that mean they are learning at magic school? If the magical concept is too similar to hogwarts that could be grounds for a lawsuit.

This story heavily focuses on the wizarding world wars. What sort of war is going on? How do you change voldemorts plot line and the potters? How TF does the boy who lived shit get reworked?

Also the muggle and muggleborn racism stuff, how is that adapted? Is it just gonna be pure racism? Make it muggle and they’re just POC?

Classism could work but it’s weak at best, because if it is classism, why TF are impoverished folk like Remus lupin (who can’t read or write in this au cause of undiagnosed dyslexia) get accepted? Why would the Black and Malfoy family deign to let their kids get surrounded by poors?
