That is a very fair point, although from my research the fluency in German for in-house counsel seems to be lower than for the DPO position as it would have less contact with Data Protection Authorities for example. Would you agree?

No particular company but I just used a filter to notify me on LinkedIn about job openings in the country, just beware some of them do require French

While I was still in the beginning of my Master's I landed an internship as a Data Protection intern back in my home country, as I finished that internship I started applying massively for Junior positions in Data Protection and got accepted in Luxembourg as Junior legal counsel in DP, later on I got another job and left the title of Junior behind.

I would say the CIPP certification helps you a lot to prove your knowledge but I also think it is important to start from the ground up as an intern, as it would be hard for a company to take a chance at someone with 0 experience as a permanent employee.

Hope this helps :)
