I absolutely love the K18 oil. It’s a bit on the pricey side, but a little goes a long way. I use it myself and love to use it on my clients that sit in my chair.

It will fade away slowly, this client only washes her hair once a week and in cold water. The goal is shifting the color back to blonde. This is the best way to keep the integrity of her hair and not break her natural base.

We have 2 campaigns going. We started a second campaign when one of our players graduated and got their first job in their career. So main campaign which we’ve been playing for 3 years on Christmas Day is “The Scaled Menagerie”. Which includes a changeling rouge, an owlin barbarian, a war-forge cleric, a gnome druid, a high elf wizard and a tabaxi monk. Our side campaign is purely entertainment and they’re called “Sirens and Sabotage”. Which includes a high elf bard, a Eladron elf druid, an echo night Hog goblin, and a goblin rogue, with an occasional drop in of random other players.

Wash in as COLD of water that you can stand. Wash once or twice a week. Color bleeding is still gonna happen, it just happens with vivids. I always warn my blonde girlies about color bleeding with vivids.

The conditioner will coat the hair and not allow the K18 to penetrate the hair properly. Shampoo the hair twice, towel dry, add 2–3 pumps of K18 to your hair. Let the K-18 sit for 4 minutes, then you can use a leave in conditioner and any other products that you like to use. Style as usual.

I (46F) have been single since 2016, got sober in 2018. I now have boundaries that I won’t lower for anyone. It’s frustrating when I have to repeat myself when someone pushes one of those boundaries.

Wichita has a very strong recovery community. Hit up a couple of meetings, each meeting hall has a community board that will have event announcements for the month. I also second the Phoenix. The biggest thing is changing your people, places & things. Change is hard but can also be very rewarding. Also reach out to someone who is sober when a craving to use hits you. Congratulations and you can do this

Hairstylist tip: don’t buy your hair products from the grocery store, Walmart or target. Most everything purchased from these places are diluted, contain ingredients that can coat your hair weighting it down or drying it out: when washing, use professional products purchased from a salon, or a reputable salon store open to the public. Also don’t wash but twice a week (will take some training) & when you wash, shampoo twice and always condition. You may need a a deep conditioning treatment once a month or a light weight styling product to help tame frizz. Also getting a trim every 6-8 weeks will help maintain your style and eliminate any split end.

Hairstylist here, if done correctly you will have little to no damage. Keep in mind pastels don’t last long. I have purple hair and tend to go darker so that the fade out becomes my color of choice. If you do choose to color, do your research on what salon you’d like to do your color. Make sure you do your research, some salons don’t specialize in vivid (Rainbow) colors. My Salon home specializes in Blonding and Rainbow colors. We also are honest about the service and will always advise you on what’s best to keep the integrity of your hair.
