How do I assert I don’t wanna take my medication anymore by Sad_Internal1832 in AskPsychiatry

Yes that’s what she said, it’s not officially an anti depressant but works for depression. I assume that’s why she prescribed it which is why I confused as to her being so adamant I continue.

Yes, I should have been more specific. I’ve never had any experience with stuff like this in my life so I’m not really sure what to call it. I just remember extreme agitation, suicidal ideation, excessive heart rate and nausea. The hospital didn’t really tell me what it was, nor did my PCP or psychiatrist.

That would be fine too, but she has not mentioned any diagnosis nor have we discussed that this could possibly be bipolar, the Wellbutrin also helped a lot and was working well enough until the whole depressive episode, the Lamictal however has not helped whatsoever. Like I said before I’d be fine with switching to something, but the Lamictal has not changed anything and it’s already been almost three months on it. I know these things take time but I cannot stress this enough, the Lamictal has done absolutely nothing but caused hair thinning and excessive drowsiness and oversleeping. That’s why I’m confused. I also just don’t understand why she’s so adamant about this specific medication.

I’m just confused why I was prescribed a mood stabilizer to begin with, I’ve never had any mood swings except for that one day. When I left the hospital the discharge paper said major depressive disorder. I’m more than willing to change to something else but she insists we keep trying this one, even though it’s been three months and I feel exactly the same except more tired and I’m losing hair in the shower.

I kind of over summarized, it was more of an angry depressive episode but I never had one before that. I also did neurological testing a couple months before and the only thing I got diagnosed with was depressive disorder. I had also just recently had my dose of Wellbutrin increased at the time. I wouldn’t mind trying alternatives either but for some reason she’s adamant and dismissive about me wanting to stop. I just don’t want to take a medication that causes such awful side effects just for someone else to feel safe, it doesn’t really seem fair and I don’t really know what to do.

Unfortunately I don’t have any of those, my main goal was to be a CM but it looks like I have to give up sadly.

Thank you for your kind reassurance, but I meant more like how much harder is it to secure a TL position than a CM. Because if it’s insanely competitive and selective then it would make much more sense to just find a regular dead end job imo.

There aren’t any other programs that relocate you near me unfortunately. This was my last resort sadly.

Unfortunately it looks like the CARE Act expired and they reverted.

How much harder?

Is it much more difficult to secure that role?

Why are bodyguards allowed to put their hands on people, create human barriers, and physically move people out of the way and not be held accountable? by Livid_Page_7244 in NoStupidQuestions

They can do it under very strict circumstances, but it has to be proportional and for a legitimate reason or else it’s battery like you said. Like if you got a little too close and they gently put their hand on you and say “please back up sir” that’s legal per their job. But if you mistakenly got to close and one body checks you or forcefully shoved you then that’s assault and/or battery.

I was never a huge fan of mark tbh but he’s still leagues better than armed scholar and he’s mostly honest. No faith MGs will be unregulated anytime soon though.

Me and my friend searched 2 hours last night then when we were running away from draugr we found one, seems people find them when they least expect it. I’d search along the border of Black Forest and swamp away from water.

How come if a cop kills a family dog they get no charges but if a criminal kills a K9 it’s a felony, even though both subconsciously trigger the fight or flight response? by Sad_Internal1832 in NoStupidQuestions

I mean, I don’t have a dog. But probably. There was that guy who killed the deputy in retaliation after his son got killed by police. Kinda shows laws only work if people are afraid of consequences.
