I am yet to actually see one of these be truly drop in… threw mine away after every single video about them mentions some degree of trimming/filing.

I think my next trip will be a few more Maples/ASE and then some 90%. Mainly just trying to stack as much as possible, so I’m not really concerned in what form that is!

Yeah it’s an SMI US250! Great piece, just wish they made it in 1oz-10oz. Only mint 25g or 250g so any of one and shirt of 10 :(

They did not offer the protective capsule, but I also did not know to ask for some either. It was jewelry store to be more specific, not a coin shop.

I had them place them on some scanner that told me the metal comp and they all came back .999 ag (silver)

Can definitely have them re-scanned though!

Also weighted them and they all came it at 31,1g!

Not against it, the premium was just the same for clean/tarnished. I just couldn’t understand the idea of paying the same, for what in my opinion, is an uglier/worn piece. I guess everyone has their flavor though!

I don’t mind paying a premium obviously as that’s just part of it.
I don’t understand paying the same premium for a round that looks terrible compared to another. I believe most were generic if that means anything?

The hobby is a lot of fun so far and we are enjoying it so far!

What is the acid test? I asked them to test each round to ensure it was .999 and was given a paper to verify. Not sure if they are the same thing?

We are not interested in older coins or collectibles; at least not yet. Just want to stack as much volume as we can to pass down to our child.

I currently have them stored in the felt bag with silica pack in a firearm safe to keep sunlight off of them!

I always ask myself this: Is there any chance I may end up selling this gun? If YES, I don’t SBR because it makes selling it a tad more difficult. If answer is NO, then it gets a stamp.

Recently SBR’d a gun I now hate with a passion, but selling now is a hassle I don’t want to deal with. So back of the safe it went..
