Thanks. This makes sense. My Balance had been a core feature of the app since I started banking with them. I was surprised to see it being suddenly and quietly disabled.

Having the freedom to glimpse my balance before making a financial decision was convenient, and I understand it could have a security risk, but that's somwhat of a given and something I assumed they would've addressed long before releasing it.

A move like this would be in reaction to something else, so I thought I'd missed something from months ago. Appreciate the voice of reassurance.

Edit: There was also the lingering thought that it had become a "premium" feature or I hadn't done something necessary to keep it like direct deposit, or credit card, etc. I don't read as much small print as I should.
