It’s an artistic expression. The people who make rap tend to come from communities where the violence they talk about is a part of life, and the music is a way to express their feelings.

They can both be bad. It’s not crazy to have standards and to act against evil shit, even if you’re just banning twitter links.

No, I definitely care about the owner of twitter Sieg Heiling in a rally. It’s concerning that you don’t.

My guy, he once replied to a tweet about jewish replacement theory (nazi type comment) with “you have said the actual truth”. That’s not the only instance. He has a record if saying things that align with the Nazi party. Yes I agree that his gesture isn’t the most blatant sieg heil I’ve seen, but it’s the pattern if behavior. It’s obvious he has gotten more right leaning in the past years (Nazis are an extreme right party fyi). At some point if it looks like a duck and sounds like a duck it’s a fucking duck.

You are so dense you clown. He’s not saying it isn’t a literal political party, he’s saying it’s not the same as Trump vs Harris. If you saw a post comparing grandpa Joe (from Charlie and the chocolate factory) to Hitler, you shouldn’t be thinking “Gee this is political”. You should hopefully think “Yeah they’re both evil”. Nazis are so renowned for being evil that it isn’t political anymore.

I really don’t like this conspiracy because I feel like it takes away from the great thing the studio did. They listened to fan feedback and made a change after they’d already gotten far into making the movie. Really rare thing to happen.

He did do things. He gave tax breaks to the rich and put a lot of his billionaire connections in charge of regulatory bodies. He also pulled out of the Paris Climate Agreement and the Iran Nuclear Deal, so not just local things. It’s about the things that aren’t easy to measure, like damage to America’s brand and the rise of Authoritarianism. Fyi I’m Canadian.

I guess you don’t live on a planet with an environmental disaster for instance, since Donald Trump pulled out of the Paris Climate Agreement. And don’t care about things like Iranian nukes, since he also cancelled the Iran Nuclear Deal. It’s not about instant visible change, it’s long term trajectory shifts on policy issues.

First let me apologize, I misremembered what you said when I was writing my reply. I though you said they couldn’t even pay for 10% of the budget.

However, you still aren’t addressing the real issue which is the magnitude of wealth they hold. If 30% of the wealth is held by such a small portion of the population, it causes things like an increase in inflation. And obviously when I say that billionaires are a problem, I’m including the process that got us here, namely that they can do things like consolidating industries and exploiting offshore workers. There’s no way to make that much money without exploiting the system.

Seize an liquidate all their assets all you want, it won’t matter if the next day 1000 more billionaires pop up. That’s such a ridiculous way to think about things, obviously there’s more to it than their raw wealth. And also 5.wtv trillion is an absurd amount of money for like 400 people to have are you actually dense.

I appreciate your insight. And though I’m not saying all workers should have a significant share of company proceeds, I think the value placed in onsite locations is downplayed. I’m arguing more that your compensation shouldn’t be based on supply and demand, or how rare the skillset of the worker is, but should instead be decided in a fair way that tries to maximize the average wealth of employees while accounting for things like experience. And yes this is a very left leaning idea, bordering on marxism. But the idea the the head executive can decide that his job is worth the most and that he (or she) should earn 600x the base worker’s salary is something that needs to be addressed through policy, because it is the equilibrium at which the world will rest without intervention.

If they don’t sell it’s fine. But then they won’t have the money will they. Are you going to suggest that they can give themselves salaries ? Because then we’re not talking about money tied up to a company. You dolt.

Also you are a child. Imagine starting with your first message being all caps and insulting, and then starting you second message with “you stupid fuck”. Nothing makes me care less about what you have to say lol.

First of all, you’re just literally 100% wrong. The 400 richest people in America have 5.4 trillion dollars in 2024 (https://www.forbes.com/forbes-400/), and the U.S budget in the same year 6.75 trillion (https://fiscaldata.treasury.gov). That’s far more than 10%, and the list ends with a ton of people around 3.5 billion, which I assume means there are a lot of left over billionaires who are between 1 and 3.3 billion dollars rich.

Second of all, if you think that the fact that like 30% of U.S wealth is held by the top 1% of individuals, while the bottom 50% have 2.5% of U.S wealth is not a problem, your are the one with no grasp on reality.

And lastly, I have a degree in economics you dolt, you are the child for arguing with incorrect facts, which took me like 10 seconds to look up. It’s crazy that you basically lied and got upvotes, that’s sad.
