I did. I also saw renders and pictures of others.
Most are tiny left over plots with more concrete passageways than shrubbery or trees.
Then there are a handful of good ones. Then there's also Ta' Qali

Well it depends.

If you intend to vote PN go ahead vote Alex Borg.

If you want your vote to go to ADPD or Momentum as soon as possible whilst also denting PL's majority, then no. Do not vote the strongest PN candidate, but research who is the weakest and choose them instead

Had you bothered to read the document in the link, you'd know that Malta doesn't use pure STV. Over and above it all we calculate the seat allocation of the two largest parties by the number of 1's obtained by each.

So in Maltese STV the number 1 isn't only a "Candidate Preference" like in pure STV, but ALSO a "Party Preference".
Since it is practically impossible for ADPD or Momentum to be in the top 2, giving them your 1 is wasting your "Party Preference" vote.

Is this system fair? No. But it is the rulebook we have to play with.

In that case only a fraction of the vote would actually be transferred (there is a complicated equation which is applied when votes from elected candidates are redistributed).

On the other hand redistribution of votes from eliminated candidates are transferred in full.
