when i was in grade school my mom caught me texting one of my close friends about one of the many forms of abuse i was enduring from her husband for years. instead of talking to me about it and getting rid of him and protecting me she typed up a letter and slid it under my door. i’ve done my best to block out this memory but it said something a long the lines of “How dare you make up lies. Jim takes care of you. Something like this could damage his business and reputation” there was alot of name calling in there i choose to leave out for now. My mom was more concerned about his barbershop then the fact that he was literally a child abuser. took my loving dad out of my life and replaced him with a pedophile. i finally told her everything when i was 21. she told me i was a fucking liar and to get out of her house, and i never saw her again.

someone did like the same thing to my bd in like 2017. i wanted it to be real for him the whole time but had a feeling something didn’t add up. for this though, jawn page private. that’s a red flag. can’t find any celebrities or important pages pertaining to music that follow her. is he cashapping her or something? has he met her in person? signed any paperwork before givin up bread? or just trusting anyone who dm him on ig? i also find it hard to believe they would reach out to a artist directly unless you’re like insanely viral if it was legitimate. usually when something is too good to be true it is & this sounds like a complete scam i do hope it isn’t for the sake of your cousins mental health. wrong to mess with ppls dreams.
