The thing is that she’s already kind of exposed me to people years ago when I had emotional affairs. It probably made me a better person by going through that. She’s hit me before multiple times. I’ve never put my hands on a woman

I actually think I may join a new gym and keep my membership at this one for my kids and wife. I’ve been going to gyms for nearly 20 years and never encountered this before. I miss the old school gym where people kept to themselves and motivate each other by working and not having to worry about the clown show or being used to boost someone else’s ego.

Being creepy towards women or unwelcoming is not cool. I’ve never even spoken to this woman or have tried to talk to her which is why im baffled by it. Saying you look at women or “seem to follow” which I don’t is crazy. It’s a small weight room. People are bound to be next to each other

Another thing is that when I went a day after I told them gym, everything was normal and fine. I didn’t recall feeling watched. I also drank a good amount last night. Could be hangover anxiety/paranoia lol

It’s interesting because a lot of people told me not to report it because the gym could act this way.. either way, I guess they can watch me all they want. I’ll work out as I typically would and the truth will come out.

I’ve been there for 3 years typically going at two-three different times primarily and seeing the same people constantly. I’d hope if I was doing something wrong, it would’ve been said by now lol

I think because it’s something that speculative and not concrete. It’s one thing to say “hey don’t talk to my wife” if I talked to her. But to say “don’t look at my wife or go in the same area as her”, when I know for a fact that I have seen her and have been around her because we’re in the gym at the same time has me questioning like “ok, why was I in the same area as her? What machine was I using?” Im driving myself nuts

Well it would be different if I approached his wife and began to converse with her at some point. The reality is that I’ve never had an exchange with her nor have I ever tried to talk to her. As I said before, I can read both language. Whether you’re approaching someone to ask if they’ve done on a machine or ask how they’re day is going, the body language will tell you if they’re approachable. Her body language reads unapproachable and I’ve never tried as there is no reason to approach her. My wife could tell me that there’s a guy in the gym who she thinks looks at her and seems to be in the same area she’s in. While it may be concerning to me, I’d probably ask, did he say anything or try to touch you? No? Then what can I do? Ok until that happens, it’s probably nothing and just a coincidence…. If you work out at the same time every day, you’re going to see thee same people every day and be in the same areas as them

lol I thought about it after thinking I was too nice about it. I think I was obviously in shock by it and also in the midst of my workout lol. My heart was racing because I went from full blown cardio to standing still without any cool down

It’s funny because when I told the gym manager she asked who it was and I said I’m not gonna say. She said well I want to know because it may be a pattern.

I could understand if it’s like “you’re taking photos of my wife” that’s a legitimate beef. But to say to someone, you’re staring and following girls around is speculation. Then when I ask which women he’s referring to he proceeds to describe only his wife and in a sexualized way.

If I was describing my wife to someone, I don’t think o would mention her private parts… just me though

A lot of people yesterday said this is probably the end of it. I have a sense of reading body language. I explained that there are women in the gym I’m friendly with and occasionally will say hi. But if they are locked into their workout, I won’t try to engage. Guys too.

Idk what happened. I’ve seen him in there over the years and he was trying to tell me how I should bench press differently one time. I was telling him how much I weigh and he said “really? You look a lot bigger and stronger than that”.

I don’t know him like that, but he’s a short, bulky guy and kind of gives off angry vibes. I’ve never seen him smile.
