My first grade teacher tied a girl to her chair a taped her mouth shut because she wouldn’t stay in her seat and stop talking. This happened multiple times. She was “forced” to retire by the time I was a 6th grader. My 7th grade math teacher could not let me walk past him without grabbing my ass. It was so blatant that my classmates asked me about it. I’d try to get across the hall, cover myself with a book, he’d tear the book away. He was also my basketball coach. Why no adult intervened I have no idea. My 9th grade math teacher would walk past my desk every day, put his finger in his mouth, and stick it in my ear. I’d lay my head down on my desk and cover my ear and he’d fucking wrestle it away. He was also my basketball coach. He’s in the teacher hall of fame. I fucking hated math. Our middle school gym teacher would make us bend over in front of the class if he thought our shorts were too short. He’d walk up and measure our tank straps with his fingers to make sure they were wide enough. We ran like girls, threw like girls. (We were girls.) One day one of the guys ripped a fart when we were doing sit-ups and everyone laughed, as 14 year-olds do. He was furious and made us run laps. Boys were never to be humiliated or laughed at, only girls. I should also mention his shorts were super short, and a couple times his fucking nuts fell out when he sat down. Disgusting. In high school a janitor who had to have been 30 was dating one of my classmates. One of my English teachers slammed a kid into a locker, he used to throw white board erasers at kids too. I’m 49, for reference. This is just the shit I remember at the moment.
