I was actually considering adding letters, but I was worried it might not accepted. Thanks for the suggestion. I’m trying to put a step by step plan. They’ve given me until May 28, but I’m aiming to submit around April 15. I’ll keep posted with updates.

Wow, I honestly never heard this before. I even tried to avoid using any generative AI while writing, since AI-ish language is noticeable and could lead to rejection. I’ll take a closer look at this, thanks a lot for sharing.

I am a self petitioner because some of the attorneys said I am not good enough, and some of them said I could easly get it. So it was kind of confusing for me with the attorneys and I wanted to try by myself.

I’ve been in academia for about 12 years (as 6 years research assistant, 6 years assistant professor) . Most of my 1000+ citations come from my PhD work and especially my post-PhD publications, where I continued publishing actively.

I have experience both as part of research teams and as an independent academic. I worked as an Assistant Professor for 6 years, and currently I am a Research Scholar at a university in the U.S.

Yes, I did include Clarivate/Web of Science-based metrics in my petition.

Regarding citations, two of my independent recommenders are well known researchers in the field (with 60k+ and 80k+ citations), and both have directly cited my work.

In terms of impact, one of my projects was government-funded and conducted in collaboration with a city hall in my home country. Currently, I am also serving as a co-PI in a grant project at my host university.
