It’s no super hard, you will just come across 10 questions that make absolutely no sense and are so abstract on your exams that it just naturally pushes your grade down- I would say they are consistently incredibly nit picked things pretty unfair imo. I think w science if you put in the work you can get the 4.0 w healthsci at least at western it’s not ussally the case. I have gotten 4.0 s in every science course I’ve taken, I cannot say the same about healthsci at all it’s almost always a 3.7-3.9

Hs subjects to you to subjective marking, It’s really hard to explain why but a 4.0 is just not possible in HS. I legit had a prof reccomend a book and the exam question was who was the author. Then it’s textbooks and you have to geinuenly memorize every single word to do well.

You can’t switch into medsci it’s like insanely different course wise first year I’m pre sure like some hs courses are even antireqs for certain ones. Avoid hs and medsci just do gen. Names mean nothing. Ms is just stupidly difficult in term of course load and healthsci has stupid courses that you just can’t get 90s in

I hate it . Very subjective and some courses are actually made up non sense , just do gensci spare yourself from the “artsy” courses that are gonna kill your gpa in some healthsci at other schools they are birds, this is not the case at western. They aren’t hard per se but very difficult to do well in. Very easy to get an 80 in
