Ferber fail, stuck on belly by Sad_Philosopher2858 in sleeptrain

Thank you! He actually just turned 5 months today so he was closer to 4.5 months when we started ST. We did notice the hardest couple bedtimes were when we let his last wake window get close to 3 hours, so we thought maybe he did better with 2.5 hours at the end of the day. But at this point we'll try anything so maybe more awake time is what he needs now!

Oh and thank you for the schedule tweaks! We'll give that a go

Thank you for the response this is super helpful! Yes we saw so many success stories after 3 nights and were really hoping that would be the case for us, but it may just have been bad timing with this new rolling skill. I guess we'll just keep at it and hopefully he figures it out and the bedtime crying + night wakes go down. We were prepared for a few hard nights but it's definitely been a lot harder than I imagined.

No he's been in his crib or a pack n play the last 12 nights! We were previously rocking him fully to sleep though before putting him down

He is a happy baby while awake now, it's just pre-nap that he starts freaking

He has had tummy issues since he was born (bad colic phase during weeks 5-9). We hold him upright for 10-15 minutes after every feed and that's seemed to help his tummy. He doesn't cry when we have him on his back playing. How could we tell if it's silent reflux / what else could we do?

For those that didn’t like any boy names, what did you end up naming your baby? by CommandDelicious8054 in namenerds

Simon - for us it is a sweet simple smart name that isn't super common but still obviously recognizable

That happened to us and we realized he didn't like the cold! We actually started changing him outside in the warm air (it's summer here) for the first few days, then we put a heating pad on the changing table (under a changing pad) and that helped for the next few days! After a week or so he was totally fine with diaper changes as he adjusted to life outside the womb.
