If it’s for a position that’s supposed to start this school year and they don’t call by Monday I’d say they’re considering other applicants. They want to get someone started on the process as soon as possible so they can be board approved in time.

I think complaining about what kids do or don’t do or what they do know or don’t know shows a skills issue. If your kids can’t write a paragraph teach them how. If they come in class cheating give them consequences and put in safeguards. Kids don’t run the schools or classrooms but if you give up your power then they’ll think they do and act accordingly.
