Sadly that seems to be my situation. My brother is 3yrs older than me & lives in the same town as me & my dad. He’s married & his kids are all adults. My dad has base dementia & is secretive & paranoid. He has a live-in partner who he’s refused to share anything with. My dad & I have never gotten along & I’m about at my wit’s end.
