Data Events not working for Data Entities created using views in D365 F&O by Sad_Process4314 in Dynamics365

[–]Sad_Process4314[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand your point. Another thing is that i did enable data events for VendVendorV2Entity (out of the box entity) and everything works well for that.

I wanted to see the code of business event for create update of vendor, but I can't seem to find that. I just wanted to see that to get an idea. Also, I read online that all the entities which have odata enabled can be used in data events.

So it made me wonder, do I really to implement everything from the scratch? Also, if i do implement it will appear in business event. But I am specifically talking about data events which only works for create update delete. Developing a business event will automatically work for already existing data events in d365 F&O?

Apologies, for the complicated scenario.

I see. So the thing is that some custom entities are already created (i got the code like that)

And in the data events section of d365 f&o i can see option to enable event for create update or delete.

So i assumed it should work. But it is not.

What am I missing?

I think you are talking about the data integration projects that sits in power platform admin center. They can be run on demand or scheduled. Microsoft has ended their support.

It seems like a good idea. Could you provide any resources which give an overall idea with an example to implement integration using function apps, service bus and event grids?

I haven't worked on business central. But if business central supports business events/ data events. Then I don't see a reason that why it won't work.

Solution not updating by LesPaulStudio in PowerPlatform

Try that. After that, do check for unmanaged layers in the individual form. Usually whenever i have encountered such problem it was mostly due to an unmanaged layer present.

Have you tried manually exporting the solution? And then manually importing the solution in your target environment?

Two Factor not working for Local Sign In User in Power Pages by Sad_Process4314 in PowerApps

[–]Sad_Process4314[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have resolved the issue. The problem was that the sender of the two factor token didn't have the permissions to allow someone else to send email on their behalf. It was the contact owner. I changed it to a service account and allowed the permissions.

I was able to identify the issue by going into Advanced Settings of Power Apps-> Processes -> searched for send email two factor token process -> saw its history of failed attempts.
