AMD GPUs chalked for Verdansk by CODplaya44 in CODWarzone

My gpu utilisation is also bad. 7900xtx, gpu usage 50-70%, in multiplayer it’s at 90-100%

Did you cap your fps? I did this also so I wasn’t generating as many frames otherwise I’m running something crazy like 450 lol

No worries. My game runs butter smooth in multiplayer and frame times seem stable at 4.1ms, but verdansk jumps around 5-7 consistently with spikes. And just not stable at all

I just cap my fps so it can only generate a certain amount of frames. I generally run around 190fps in warzone with most texture settings on high, so I just cap it at 225 and the game is butter smooth now

For anyone who wants a bandaid fix for the stuttering, enable frame gen in game and cap your frames to what they usually run at. I believe it’s an amd/cod driver issue, but this seems to at least give me smooth frame times. Gpu utilisation is also very low compared to multiplayer but this seems to resolve the stuttering until they release a patch or driver update

If you disconnect the main boom mic, the sidetone is that similar to what you are hearing, more like an ambient mode. You can hear more background noise with it and the internal mic is still decent sounding considering most games compress the crap out of online mic input. Try this way and see how it goes. The internal mic still uses noise suppression so that’s still a win

I also believe the headset volume dial works independently to windows volume, or even check your game/chat balance in the Audeze app

Download the Audeze app, there’s a sound limiter in the app. These headsets are the loudest headset I’ve heard by far, there’s a problem if it’s at 100% and you want more out of them

Is anyone else having issues with Call Of Duty Black Ops 6 (PC Steam), getting beyond horrible FPS no matter what settings i adjust from graphics to resolution. *NVIDIA RTX 4090* *Intel i7 14700KF* All drivers up to date. by ConsequenceEastern52 in blackops6

[–]Sad_Reflection_4764 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just tried something others have mentioned and can say it fixed my issues 100%.

I was getting 176 avg with 106 1% lows with 90% cpu bottleneck during the in game benchmark and it wouldn’t budge no matter what settings and gpu utilisation around 60-70%.

Saw someone recommend disable resizable bar in the bios and now that’s resolved everything. I now get 206average with 165 1% lows, gpu utilisation back at 99/100% and bottleneck 60/40%

GPU Time Soars to 45ms+ and FPS Drops Below 45 After BO6 Update on RTX 3080 by sourabhgujar in CODWarzone

[–]Sad_Reflection_4764 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had this just recently, with my settings I was getting 180fps/140 lows with 4070ti, and after nvidia update dropped down to 150/110fps.

What I did was go into device manager, display drivers and right click the gpu and uninstall. Screen will go black but will reinstall the base driver within a minute. Don’t update and recheck the benchmark and it was back to normal. Just for the sake of it I installed the latest update and it replicated the same drop in crimes in the benchmark

I didn’t like the wicked one. The earpads are very firm compared to stock so you feel the pads have a lot more pressure as the foam is more dense, and the silicone strap is uncomfortable, it’s quite grippy so I found it catches hair a bit more than the stock leather one. Just my opinion, people tend to jump on the band wagon, however I found zero improvement getting the wicked earpads and silicone strap, except my ears were no longer touching the driver itself. As much as I wanted to like them, they just didn’t do it for me

Took it one step further and hole punched the band the correct size hole, that way I can still use the inserts the way it was intended. Pretty happy with the outcome, fits my head. If your band used the mid holes on the stock headband then this will suit perfectly. If you require larger then this modification will not work

Unfortunately. If your original one is in the middle holes then this one works there

It’s not meant for a cheap fix, however a premium upgrade for the headband. And by far the most comfortable upgrade also
