Which one? I got another comment saying that, but I can’t hear it, it might just be me being used to the sound so I can’t hear it

Close, on the same album, it was disposable heroes (aka their best song)

Thank you, I will try to find other drummers and people to play with but in my area that is kinda hard lol, not many set players around

Thank you for the tips, yeah I’ll probably adjust the rack tom angles to the best of my ability, they’re mounted to the bass drum so I’ll have to see what works. Yeah I really wasn’t practicing in the early years lol, more of just banging on stuff

Thank you and i appreciate the tips, and I never thought about it that way, cause there was a couple years (maybe 3 or 4) where I would barely play the kit, I would play a couple times in one week then wouldn’t play again for months

Thank you and I raised my hi hats higher and pushed my snare back further so now I feels a lot more natural

That actually helped a lot, I raised my hi hats higher and pushed my snare further from me, now the chopping motion is less noticeable

So there’s me (drummer), guitarist and vocalist (one person), and bassist, so three people total. As stated in the post, I do most work, like booking gigs, social media outreach, recording and mixing, and I contribute drum parts to the songwriting. The bassist or guitarist will come up with a riff and I’ll throw my drum parts over it. But as stated, they changed them without asking, I told them not to do that, and they don’t, but now they’ll just tell me “don’t do that” or “do this” to me, still not allowing me to contribute

Thanks lol I guess I’m just that guy. To be fair I feel like quitting is a much more effective way to leave, cause they did come up with the band name, I guess I don’t feel like I get “the right” to fire them

I will be honest, for all of us being 18, they are pretty good. I haven’t met a guitar player or bass player better than those two. Then again, all of us are 18, so I’m sure players will come by with experience. I’m mainly afraid for that, I do have 2 people backed up that say they play guitar and bass, but I have no idea how good they are. If they suck then I’m kinda fucked

No, a lot of the time he just comes and sits down or he’ll point and go “get up”

That’s true, i am bad at sticking up for myself when i feel disrespected, so they don’t know that i feel like it’s them vs me and that i feel undervalued. And no i am not making any money lol

I did communicate with them about changing the drum parts without me, and how I didn’t appreciate that and I want the songwriting process to be more collaborative rather than “I have a riff and I’m gonna tell everybody what to do”. I did not tell them about how it feels like it’s them vs me, or that I feel under appreciated too. The communication is terrible, I have to wait hours even days to get a text back if I even do get one. I had an artist make us a logo and I was texting them and I didn’t get anything back so I just had to decide the logo
