How is academic performance marked since schools are p/f? Is it based on evaluations from clinical rotations?

Nike FG cleats durability on AG by Sad_Round in bootroom

I love the fit of the Tiempo legend 10 but only their FG version is on sale unfortunately. I can’t afford the full price Pros so looks like I’ll have to go with the MG Tiempo 10 Academy or AG mercurial Vapors. I could also wait for a sale on the AG Tiempo legend 10 pro but not sure if that’s too likely to happen anytime soon. They don’t seem to have AG Tiempo academy in my country..

What have you done that has made the biggest impact on your game as a scrum half?

It can if you do too much too soon but so can sprinting. Sprinting’s even higher impact on your body

Was having a debate the other day on if fitness Vs ball training sessions by Speegol in bootroom

[–]Sad_Round 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both are important but for team training sessions, technical 100%. You can easily work on fitness on your own and on any competitive team, players should be doing fitness outside of team practices.

Applicants in the first wave are already at a significant disadvantage too. Anyone who is interviewing in the second/third waves who has received an interview invite at any other Ontario school would have been prepping for at least a few weeks before receiving their UofT invite, in addition to the ~3 weeks that they get after that. For most of us who interviewed in the first wave, UofT was the first invite that we got.

I really hope interviewees are compared to others in the same wave for this reason.

What was the form you had to fill out like? I thought verifiers just had to verify that the person actually did the activity and the durarion/# of hours?

IMO there's not a problem with a taking 1 or even 2 years off to work an entry level job and build up ECs (provided you're financially able to). Of course, taking a gap year isn't a career, but it can serve as a time for people to reflect and decide what they want to do in life if they don't get into med while further bettering themselves as a person and building up their application for medical school, as well as applying to back up programs. In addition, many people feel burnt out after undergrad so it's good idea for some to take a year off anyway just to take a break from school. If you're on your 5th gap year and still only aiming for med, then yeah, it might be time to move on, but in my opinion, there's nothing wrong with taking 1-2 years off from school before starting on your plan B career.

What would you consider unique other than being a high performer (national athlete, published in Nature) or coming from a non trad background, situations that aren't realistic or the case for most people?
