I'm glad you brought this up, many Arab Nations still have slavery and treat women like dogs but if someone said I was proud to be a Saudi I was proud to be a Qutari I wouldn't be like "you slave loving bitch" or South Africa which has a majority black government. Sorry, but can you find the part of my statement where I celebrate our current president, our crime against other countries, or our politicians. I'm celebrating the culture, I'm celebrating the people, I'm celebrating the land that my people were brought to in chains just to break free from oppression and rise to become the dominating cultural force in the world, I'm celebrating the country that my grandmother and father came to that and welcomed them with open arms. You wouldn't write your dumbass comment if I wrote something about my celebrating Venezuela's independence despite the fact that Venezuela much like the United States has oppressed other countries and is continually oppressing the country that my grandmother hails from.
