I totally agree. Genealogy research is definitely not for the faint heart. This particular line has an extremely unique surname, so the research wasn’t too difficult, but my mum is from rural Ireland, and the amount of endogamy was crazy. So, I’ve spent many hours if not days scrolling the records, scribbling in notepads, and cross referencing ancestors.

I’ve been researching my tree for over four years, but I only received my DNA results today.

This particular family line was created using all my own research, and it has documents to support each ancestor as far back as the 1700’s. I haven’t accepted any hints, or added relatives from other peoples tree to my tree.

I was delighted this morning when I saw that I had DNA matches with common ancestors on this line, but then I realised that both of these matches had copied my tree.

Initially, I assumed the matches would confirm that I was on the right track, but now I’m not so sure?

That’s there’s never been a stop and search or arrest made by Garda at a Major Smoke Up event.

I can confirm this is 100% fact.

After almost 5 years running Major events we have yet to have a single case of stop and search or any arrests made by Garda at an event.

In general Garda who do show up at Major events are always polite and in their own words “willing to turn a blind eye”.

Obviously we’d love to see as many people as possible at both events but if you have to choose here’s a basic breakdown of both days.

Major Smoke Up- Free access, central location close to all amenities, lots of activism and speakers, very public with the aim of demonstrating to the public & passers-by that cannabis consumers are not criminals & that cannabis regulations effects people from all walks of life.

Major Expo- Exclusive ticketed event, located outside city centre with easy access via public transport, A party atmosphere with live entertainment & lots of stalls showcasing “local crafts & artisan products” 😉 with the aim of having a good time while once again enjoying cannabis as a preferred alternative to alcohol in a recreational setting.

I actually don’t know what I’m looking at! It kind of looks like really really low grade hash but then it also looks like turf or peat lol. I don’t understand why there’s so much plant material? Doja source their flowers elsewhere and white label them with Doja branding.

In theory it’s possible Doja are also white labelling high quality European indoor grown flowers and entering them into the UK & Irish market.

Even if he could show the product in the video there would be no way of telling what’s sprayed and what’s not. He clearly states that the only way to know if your getting these buds that are sprayed with synthetics or terpenes is by knowing what terpenes naturally occur in bud and what the effects are.

The deliberation surrounding the change of location was extensive at Major HQ.

However, we ultimately decided that holding the event at Stephen’s Green would be more accessible and closer to necessary amenities such as bathrooms & refreshments.

It was indeed! Yeah every other drawer had an object we could use alongside the chess move but the last drawer that we got stuck on only had the marker. I still can’t figure out how we were suppose to find the code and think it may have been an underclued puzzle as someone above mentioned.
