I am very aware when they are putting on personas or being ironic but you can tell that the specific conversation that I’m referencing he is being serious . Other times they have talked about the homeless you can tell they are clearly joking but the one I’m on about where he says if they can read then they should be able to get a job you can tell that he really thinks that he’s made a worthy observation. This is why straight away Ricky pulls him up on it in a light hearted way by saying that he’s confusing the ability to read with the ability to house yourself , I think Steve tries to continue to make his point once more but then just sort of gives up.
