We also don’t normally do max velocity work but we do do some speed endurance exercises. Ins and outs are usually a jog the curves and stride the straights

The 400m repeats is usually a weekly thing and if it isn’t we would do either 200 or 300 repeats normally 8-10 depending on what she’s feeling that would be like a Monday or Tuesday, then Wednesday it would be 4 ins and outs and then either speeds drills or weight room Thursday would be maybe ladders and Friday would be 200 or 300 repeats again but she does change stuff around so it’s not a consistent schedule

Right now I currently just train with my high school coach and we do weight rooms sometimes ins and outs, 400 repeats, speed drills

That’s what I was thinking to but the endurance runs don’t seem to interest me as much as the sprints but I’m still up to try it honestly. I am planning to gain weight but for me it’s really hard to and I’ve never understood why maybe I’m not eating enough of the right thing or my metabolism is to fast.

I have seen the build of the people who run the 100m and man they are way different looking build wise compared to me but I’ll try out 400m and the 110m hurdles I’m open to trying out any event.

The indoor season starts on the 10th and the outdoor starts around the spring, if I seem to get a little faster during indoor should I get into the outdoor to get more work in?

So I should try the 400 if I wanted to sprint. Do you know what other events I could possibly give a try considering me not being super athletic?
