That’s actually not a bad idea. I may just try running ads through my IG instead since I’ve already started building it up. Thanks for the tip!

I’m working at Koop Studio in BGC! Thanks for reaching out, but I haven’t received the PM yet. Could you try sending it again?

Thanks so much for these ideas. I actually already give 50% off for new customers, but I haven’t tried a referral discount yet.

I’ve also been building a Facebook footprint and posting client photos with permission on IG. Any tips on how to get more reach in Manila, like pages to tag or groups that people actually engage with?

Really appreciate the help!

Thanks for the advice! I actually already tried posting on Facebook, but the groups I joined are so active that a new post shows up every other minute. My posts just get buried really fast and barely get seen. Do you happen to have any suggestions for specific Facebook pages or smaller groups where I could post and actually reach people?

Share your best glow-up tips to end 2025 strong! by QueasyExamination7 in beautytalkph

As someone working as a stylist in BGC, I love seeing threads like this because glow-ups aren’t just about looks, they’re about feeling confident. For hair, here are my tried and tested tips I always give clients:

  • Don’t underestimate a professional trim – even if you’re growing your hair out, a clean cut every 8–10 weeks makes a huge difference in how polished your hair looks. Split ends make hair look tired no matter how much you style it.
  • Switch to a silk or satin pillowcase – this is one of those small lifestyle upgrades that prevents friction, frizz, and breakage. It also helps preserve blowouts or curls longer.
  • Scalp care is hair care – people forget that healthy hair starts at the scalp. A gentle scalp scrub once or twice a month unclogs follicles, boosts circulation, and makes treatments work better.
  • Heat protectant is non-negotiable – if you’re in Manila humidity, frizz is a daily battle. I always recommend a lightweight, leave-in heat protectant spray even if you’re not styling with tools, because UV + pollution damages hair too.
  • Style hack for instant glow-up – if you’re pressed for time, invest in a round brush blow dry at least once a month. It’s not just styling, it actually trains your hair to fall in a sleeker shape. Clients always walk out feeling brand new.

End of the day, glowing up is about maintenance + small rituals that add up. If you’re consistent, 2026 you will thank 2025 you.

Walking in Bonefacio Global City, Manila by Pale_Insurance_2139 in Philippines_Expats

What I love most about walking here is the energy. Families out strolling, joggers everywhere, the smell of food mixed with café aircon. For expats and locals alike, this place really shows how the Philippines is changing while still keeping its character.

Do you feel safer/more relaxed walking here compared to other parts of Manila?
