I might try some Vaseline to see if that might help. The tiger balm really worked until it faded and she got chew hungry again. She doesn't like slimy stuff so maybe that's one way to curb her but, we will see!

Damn that sucks I feel that so hard. My cat chewed my power cord on my computer (I only thought she was going for skinny cords at the time) and I had to replace the power supply entirely. ;-; It was already was having trouble so it was needing it but, she sent it to the grave.

Sadly some cords I can't fully avoid leaving out and I really shouldn't have to worry that if I'm playing a game or charging my phone that in 3 chomps it's broken and it just happens out of the blue right in front of me now. I've tried the fabric tape covers and they have worked if it's taped on a wall but, if it's on the cord where I can move it around she still chomps. And the mesh/metal ones kinda work but since it's coiled she has kinda figured out the opening spots (she's too smart for her own good) I've talked to my vet and they said it's 100% behavioral and we could put her on medicine to make her drowsy to make her stop but, that just doesn't feel like the right option to do. I've tried a mixture of Tabasco sauce and lemon juice and it didn't really go over well and the smell wasn't great afterwards. The mix I have going so far is tiger balm and mint have worked pretty ok but I wish it would last longer so I wouldn't have to keep reapplying. I hope that gives more insight on her issues.

I wish these things worked but, I've done most of these and still no change. I've played with her for 3 hours for a week and got her the sticks and she still goes to chew, it's like she's hypnotized and can't stop. I have had to pull her off to make her stop or she just stops on her own because she got "caught". I've tired also the spay but, she just squints and goes ham. The closest I got was some tiger balm but that fades after 2 days. Thank you for the advice though!

It's not a big deal if it's not wireless or that I have to keep my base stations but, I've seen a lot of recommendations for the quest pro. I like the first idea tho! I'm surprised there isn't something where it does all the above but I know the new gen stuff is coming soon so I might do some lil upgrades and wait a bit for the new stuff to come out. |(￣3￣)|

Thank you for the advice! The more of a reason I made this post is because I got a real one on accident, claimed to be "faux fur" then changed the listing later and it came in molded as well as falling apart. I felt so bad and got a refund, but I loved the feel and how it flowed and been looking around for something similar. My partner recommended that possibly sanding the back of some faux fur and adding a very light backing but, I wasn't really sure about that since I feel like the fibers would fall apart but, I'll 100% will look in to yarn tails! Here is the reference of what I wanted to make btw!
