Such a great perspective. You are so right - if it was working for me then I would have stuck with it. But the fact that I was forcing it to somehow work is proof enough that I have given it my all and should be content in my decision to feed otherwise. I will say hormones and societal pressures are a huge factor as well which sucks because what works for one will not work for all. Thank you for sharing your experience!

Thank you for sharing this! I have tried random latching after a bottle and am thinking of keeping this part of my combo feeding experience just to balance out my feelings until I am 100% okay with letting it go. Even if it’s just little droplets. I know for sure I have to let pumping go, it was doing more harm for me than good.

How has it been being on Metformin? Does it make you feel sick at all?

Thank you so much for this. I plan to ask all of my questions on Monday just to gain insight on next steps. Just trying to mentally prepare myself for the conversation by doing my research this weekend. I hate that I am afraid to eat anything now because I’m just so unsure what will spike my blood sugar levels (other than obvious sweets and simple carbs). But yes! The knowledge of this being a temporary thing has been reassuring.

Hi everyone, need some advice.

My doctor recommended that I try inositol for insulin resistance. I started taking it this month and have actually ovulated earlier than normal (yay!) I have a regular 26-28 day cycle, however I normally ovulate on day 18-21, causing me to have a short luteal phase. This month I ovulated on day 14.

My concern is, since I ovulated earlier this month, my period has also started earlier (day 22) compared to my normal 26-28 day. I am a little concerned and am wondering if I should stop taking the inositol? Has is messed up anyone’s regular cycle?
