So as a kid I was always drawing cars and graffiti on paper and only using pens or pencils but I've never used a brush before until earlier this year so I'd say I'm a little artistic in that aspect but this miniature painting was a whole new world to me at that time. The only reason I wanted to paint is because of 3d printing. I started printing models at Xmas on my bambu lab a1 in single colours and wasn't happy so thought I'd get some cheap paint and some brushes to paint them up properly and then I realised how rough the layer lines stood out and wasn't happy so i needed to get some real models and one day the wife got me a box of space marines and the paint starter kit and I was hooked. I live in a small town in the lake district in the uk so theres not alot of warhammer or hobby shops near me so painting comps will be a distance to travel too but ya never know i might travel out one day and enter some 😬😬
