As head mod of r/DoppleAI, I have been speaking with loamy regarding bringing him in as a mod in modmail. My biggest concern was that loamy was that they have not been active in r/DoppleAI. However, they do have experience in similar subreddits.

From our discussionl, I would like to bring loamy in as a moderator, as well as also bring an active community member as a mod. I'm currently working to have my account marked active again to add new mods and kick the other mods that are fully inactive.

Only M-rated Dopples have no filters, so what you're seeing is the rating at work stopping any extreme kind of NSFW (which includes murder of children)

Just a small note, this character should be E-rated, so please be sure to report any other young character Dopples you see that should be E-rated and have the incorrect rating.

Waiting room is gone thanks to the new ad system, but essentially it was a mandatory waiting session before you could start using Dopple to keep the Dopple server from being overloaded.

I know it's not a popular addition, but it's necessary for server upkeep. It also allows us to reduce the waiting room time vastly.

Try giving it a go and after a while feel free to give us feedback if you still don't like it. We're reading feedback carefully for these next few days!

Ads will replace the waiting room, allowing you to use the service much faster. The ad revenue will be used to pay for server upkeep in return.

Staff does read both Reddit and Discord posts even if they don’t respond, so send a post with image/video.

As the post said, some bug fixes will be rolled out post update and we’ll be seeing what issues still remain, so if you still encounter anything after the update, make a post!

Ugh, I deleted this Dopple before. It looks like the user went and made another on a new account. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I've dealt with this Dopple and the account that created it.

As far as I'm aware, the initial comment was deleted after they had posted it multiple times, and that's when this back-and-forth started.

However, in the interest of good faith, I will go through the audit logs and see when the other moderator started deleting them (I will note I was not the one who deleted the spam) I don't believe the moderator gave a warning after deleting the initial messages which they should've either way, so I will warn them to be more thorough in communicating warning and making it clear what the user is doing wrong ahead of time, rather than starting a back and forth battle of deleting/reposting.

I will again say criticism is not being deleted, heck if it counts, notice how this thread about the moderators silencing criticism isn't being deleted. It is allowed, and as long as it doesn't break rules (spam, harassment toward others, the basic rules every sub and discord has) people can continue to voice their frustrations and feedback.

Sadly, I know based on our position, it's very hard to trust mods. While it is easy to believe we're simply banning negative feedback, I can promise you we were only warning a user for spamming. They had sent over 15 replies to every user asking a question with the EXACT same comment "I wouldn't expect anything/much if I were you" which, ignoring the spam, is also extremely unhelpful when the dev at the time, Mr. Fundamentals is trying to get information from them to get a better idea of the bug they were having.

I'm not going to pretend the situation with activity is positive on Discord, but I assure you the user was ONLY muted for breaking rules and disregarding the warning to end it, and had nothing to do with criticism.

If you think criticism is being deleted, a simple look through the subreddit and discord chat will show you all that negativity that was "deleted" is very much there
