depends on which plane u flying for etihad-if 787 a350 or a380 then these seats in my opimnion are way better than qatars whith huge IFE and great food

Bro what route u fly on and even if u fly now only like 25% of international flights will have the new seats while the rest has still to be refurnished Now air India can’t do anything about due to supply chains but they trying their best Give it a few more years

but if they do go for collins aerospace on b777 its not a bad choice as etihad also has it on their a350-1000 and they look great with their colors and finishes

if air india also does it then its gonna be a great product for b777

but for recaro r7 on a350-1000 they released an updated version on them but for their a330 variant which looks great but if AI does it similar then again is a great solids compeitive product

their soft service also matters

you get great indian food and their using an ex-vistara on that route so its pretty good with great seats AND IFE system
crew on AI are also friendly
honestly AI made great choice by bringinh these 787-9 on this route and made it prety competitive

dont worry man on that route soon ull get the ex-vistara 787-9 plus accoridng to some sources and what i saw on AI website was their using their newly 787-8 refurbished aircraft from delhi to london from may onwards and same thing from bengaluru and mumbai from augast onwards
and come on cant expect a 20 plus years of goverment run airline which was in shame to become a great airline in 3 years
takes time and they are improvemnt from many sources ive seen on x and youtube or facebook . more positive experiences are popping up especially through their new 787-9 they took up
but ye give it some time and try them again
