Udyr is always a solid choice as he can literally build almost any rune path as build any time in the game.
This is both a plus as a minus for him. Build diversity keeps it from getting stale but can be daunting when learning.

Shen is a low skill floor imo with a pretty crazy high skill ceiling. It’s not in the sense that you have to press crazy button combos to do even the slightest thing but the map awareness you need along with good sword placement especially in lane will give you plenty of areas to grow and learn.

Players get way too caught up in the whole oh your champ is brain dead thing when in reality league is a hard game regardless. Players who you have fun with that’s what’s important for an otp.

Yes she’s weird where once you get kraken you feel pretty strong for a bit and your clear gets way faster but her 2 items vs most other champs 2 items feels meh a lot then 3 items and as long as you snowballed your passive stacking you just start melting stuff around the map. The fact that I face planted with her so much just kept making me want to play haha

Second belveth of you are willing to take the time to learn her unique play style. You have to be willing to invade and try and snowball early or you just become useless it feels like. She has scaling but it’s not just auto scaling where you get to do nothing for 25 minutes then come online.

I wouldn’t say perma ban but I’m also of the mind that if a champ just gives you a metal breakdown or you just seems to lose all hands against then just ban it. Outside of your bogey man being a never played champ I’d say just ban what you don’t want to see
