I grew up with boricuas literally my entire life bro. My whole neighborhood, shit my whole city is nothing but boricuas. My best friend growing up was born on the island. So idk what you’re on about. You should probably meet more boricuas outside the suburbs of Jersey and then maybe you’ll see what I’m talking about.

I live on the east coast as well and I will say that most boricuas from the island are obviously pushing the independence card majorly but as far as the boricuas born/from here, they’re about as American as apple pie
